Renovating Bayside bathrooms, kitchens & laundaries.

Here are a few of the recent bathroom, kitchens and laundries we have completed for our customers

How it works

Step 1: Introduction

Once we receive an enquiry, we're ready to go. We like to respond within a few hours on a working day, and start talking straight away about your plans, thoughts, and any drawings you might or might not have.

The point of this stage is to plan the plan. If you've got all the details, we can get started. If you need help with the drawings, we can connect you with the right people.

Step 2: Reference check

We encourage you to look at our google reviews to get an idea of our reputation for quality. We are even happy to put you in touch with previous customers who have had similar jobs done to see if we're the right fit.

Step 3: Organising the tradies

Not every tradie will need to visit the site, usually the carpenter and sometimes the tiler will need to do a site visit. The good thing is that you will be personally introduced to the trades people you will be having in your home.

Step 4: Quotes and plans

Once we've scoped out everything, we will present our formal quote along with a 3D plan of your proposed bathroom. We also introduce you to our consultants at Reece so we can start selecting fittings and fixtures (the nitty gritty details).

Step 5: Getting the ball rolling

We like to allow time for you to digest everything and encourage you to ask as many questions as you can. Once you're happy to accept our proposal, we schedule in all the works, and give you an idea of who will be coming to do work on your renovation, and when.

Step 6: Working and communicating

We pride ourselves on being great open communicators, and work hard to avoid any surprises. Things will go swimmingly.

When work commences, we will be your one point of contact. We manage the job from start to finish, and try to keep your renovation experience as stress-free as possible.

We'll keep checking that you're happy with everything along the way, and do our best to make sure your needs are met.

Step 7: Finishing touches

One of the most important parts! We're not about leaving mess or shoddy cover-ups. We take time and care to make sure the polish is as good as it can be.

Then there's the clean up. We take our mess away with the aim of leaving you a genuinely 'ready-to-use' finished product.

Final step: Handover

This will be done after you have had a chance to experience the room for a few days to see if there are any issues you may have found that we need to rectify. These will be rectified within 21 days from that day.

Enjoy peace of mind knowing you’ve dealt with registered builders and tradies who will issue the warranties and certificates required by Australian law.

Making sure the job is done properly

While we understand a nice finishing polish makes a newly renovated bathroom, kitchen or laundry look great, it’s what’s hidden beneath that really counts. We focus on making sure the structure and foundation is built to last, and we don’t take shortcuts.

At the end of the job, we make sure that your new bathroom, kitchen or laundry is well-finished, tidy, and ready to use. As a proud perfectionist, Andrew’s eye for detail will remind you why he comes so highly recommended.

We offer quality home renovation solutions at affordable prices, and pride ourselves in good old-fashioned service.

Trust is an important part of our business ethos. As a qualified builder, Andy takes great care to be respectful of the family home, keeping mess and disruption to a minimum. He’s the builder that you’ll feel comfortable to have around the family home.

What out customers have to say

Home to Garden have just completed our en-suite bathroom renovation, it was a pleasure to have Andy, Steve and Jawad working in our home, completing all the building works as per our design, what a transformation it has been we are very pleased with the workmanship and end finished result. Completed on time, good care of our property, always available to discuss any issues and a very professional job. Thank you Andy and Team.
Georgina, Parkdale

Home to garden helped me with a leaking shower and bathroom renovation. We were able to leave Home to Garden to complete the work required with minimal input. They also provided advice regarding other trades people. Home to Garden assisted us with a problem at a property we had tenants living in. They coordinated all the work required on our behalf, liaised with the tenant and provided an exceptional report at the completion of the job. The work was of an exceptionally high standard as was the level of communication, which is why we would happily recommend Home to Garden.
Jill, Highett

We first came across Home to Garden and Andy’s details through recommendations on our local area Facebook page.

We engaged Home to Garden to complete a bathroom and laundry renovation in our 70s brick home. The renovation involved moving walls and plumbing to create a family bathroom and add a second toilet into the laundry.

From the very beginning it was clear that Andy is someone who takes pride in his work and he and his team of trades have a great attention to detail. He made sure he understood what we needed, accommodated our requests and made suggestions that resulted in a better layout and usability.

We were given a timeline of each stage of the works and trades involved, and the renovation was completed to the agreed timeline. Which is no small feat considering the challenges that cropped up (as they inevitably do during a renovation of an old home).

The communication from Andy was fantastic. No question was too small and and Andy went out of his way to ensure we were informed, able to make decisions and happy with the outcomes.

We happily recommend Andy and Home to Garden.

Andy first did some plumbing work at my early 70's unit and I then engaged him to renovate the bathroom. I was given a project plan where everything was mapped out and Andy kept in regular contact with me about the project. The end result is I have the bathroom I wanted, which will last for years. Happy to recommend.
Sue, Mordialloc

We had a complete bathroom renovation through Andy and the outcome was amazing meeting our expectations fully.

Andy provided professional on time and budget service with the professionalism , we are happy to recommend Andy for futurecustomers and he is very easy to deal with , we trusted him completely to go through the entire project also arranging other trades on site that were needed to complete the entire project.
Saville, Sandringham

I employed Andy from Home to Garden to run my renovation of my kitchen, laundry and powder room renovation.

From the start Andrew instilled confidence in me that we were going to be well taken care of and that the people he used were very knowledgeable of their trade.

I was concerned about the project running on, having no kitchen and laundry for an indefinite period of time seemed quite daunting, especially with two young boys and my wife and I leading a very busy professional life. We definitely could do without the disruption in our life.

Andys communication throughout the project was impeccable, he was always on the front foot which meant that we were always aware when trades would be arriving and what stage of the job we were at throughout the project.

Home to garden and their team were very tidy, making sure that at the end of each day the place was left reasonably tidy so that we could still use the remainder of the family home as per usual.

The kitchen was rearranged to best suit the space, with a walk in pantry and larger island bench. The lighting and storage was customised to our needs. The finishing touches were immaculate and we now really enjoy using our new kitchen with our family and friends

I would highly recommend Andy at Home to Garden for your renovation work. You will be very happy with the whole process from initial consultation to schedule of works right through to finishing touches and hand over.
Tim, Aspendale Gardens

We contacted Andrew after seeing a number of positive recommendations for Home and Garden on the Bayside Hub by contributors who had had bathrooms renovated by him.

We liked Andrew from the start and his quotations for renovating our bathroom and ensuite were quite competitive.

He provided us with a detailed schedule of works and his trades kept to that despite running into unforeseen structural problems. Work was done with a minimum of mess and in a very efficient manner, and the site was cleaned at the end. All trades men worked well and were pleasant to deal with. We found Andrew to be extremely responsive and helpful with any of our concerns. We were kept in the loop at all

We are very pleased with the results.
We highly recommend Andrew from Home to Garden to anyone who is planning to renovate their bathrooms or indeed for any plumbing work.
Graeme and Pam, Brighton

Andrew and his team renovated our elderly mother’s laundry to include an easy to access shower. The project took one month to complete as planned. Throughout the entire process Andrew was professional, well organised providing timely and effective communication. He was always a pleasure to interact with, willing to answer questions and provide advice. We highly recommend Andrew and look forward to engaging him again for other renovations.
Katy and Toni, Caulfield North

Andy was prompt and efficient. If any delays he advised me. He is a pleasant young man and I was very comfortable with him in the house. He explained all work. Andy cleaned up well at end of jobs.
Nereda, Brighton

Home to Garden renovated my bathroom, when I needed to have a more accessible shower. They were very good at communication, and understood what I wanted. The whole process went smoothly and efficiently, and it was finished on time. The tradespeople were all really pleasant, and they took pride in their work. I felt I could trust this company. I definitely recommend them.
Ruth, Bentleigh East

We have been working with Andy and his team for about 2 months on the renovations of our main bathroom, followed by our en-suite. We are very very happy with both the end result and the process that got us there. Andy met us multiple times to make sure he understood our requirements, offered valuable suggestions, provided a detailed schedule (which was closely adhered to), took very good care of our property and always kept us in the loop on the progress. He was also always available to address any questions or concerns we had during the renovation. Overall, the team was a pleasure to work with and gave us our best renovation experience so far!!!
Sujay, Black Rock

Andrew arrived on the dates agreed to and at the right time. He was also careful of existing furniture and floor coverings so that work materials or dust were kept to a minimum while the job was underway. Workmanship and care with new fittings could not be faulted. Andrew also made useful suggestions about the layout of taps and outlets in our en suite renovation.
